Health Guarantee and Customer Commitment

Our Bernese Mountain Dog puppies are 100% safe, secure, and guaranteed to be in good health and free from any signs of infection at the time of shipping.

Ongoing Support and Care

Our relationship with you doesn’t end once you take home a puppy from us. As a family of breeders and experienced puppy counselors, we are committed to supporting you throughout your puppy’s life. While we strive to ensure that every puppy is healthy and happy, we acknowledge that certain factors—such as genetics, exercise, nutrition, and daily care—can impact a puppy’s health.

We understand the emotional bond you form with your puppy, and while no puppy can be truly replaced, we aim to ease the pain of an unexpected loss by offering a replacement puppy of equal value.

Health Guarantee Terms

  1. One-Year Health Guarantee:
In the unfortunate event of your puppy’s death within one year of purchase, or if the puppy is diagnosed with a health disorder that significantly affects its quality of life, we will provide a replacement puppy of equal value at no additional cost.
  2. Veterinary Certification Required:
The cause of death or health disorder must be certified by a licensed veterinarian. A copy of the health report must be emailed to us for verification.

Health Examination Requirements

To ensure your puppy’s ongoing health:

  • Initial Health Examination:
Please provide us with a copy of a health examination conducted by a licensed veterinarian within 10 business days of receiving your puppy.
  • Vaccination and De-Worming:
Your puppy will arrive with up-to-date vaccinations and de-worming treatments. It is important to continue regular de-worming and follow your veterinarian’s vaccination schedule up to 16 weeks of age or as recommended.

Exceptions to the Health Guarantee

This health guarantee will be voided under the following circumstances:

  • Failure to provide regular veterinary care for your puppy.
  • Any health issues related to spaying or neutering, including undescended testicles.

Pre-Shipment Health Check

All our Bernese Mountain Dogs undergo a thorough health examination before being shipped. This examination, performed by a licensed veterinarian, includes assessments of:

  • Cardiovascular System
  • Skin and Coat
  • Eyes, Ears, Mouth, Teeth, and Gums
  • Musculoskeletal System
  • Respiratory System
  • Urogenital and Gastrointestinal Systems

A Veterinary Health Report certifying the puppy’s condition will be completed on the date of shipment. If any significant health concerns are noted during the examination, the puppy will not be shipped until those issues are resolved.

Post-Delivery Health Examination

We require you to have your puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 10 days of receiving the puppy. This examination ensures your puppy’s health and allows for early detection of any potential concerns.
